Blazer Jobs is hiring a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time, school-based position in Moriarty, New Mexico for the 20252026 school year. About the Role
As a COTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide direct therapy services that support students fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skill development. Youll play a key role in helping students thrive in classroom and everyday school activities.
Key Responsibilities

Implement occupational therapy programs as directed by the supervising OT

Provide hands-on therapy and classroom-based support to enhance student participation

Collect data and monitor student progress toward IEP goals

Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with district and state standards
Qualifications

Active New Mexico COTA License/Certification (required)

Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred

Knowledge of IDEA and IEP documentation processes

Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
